CAMPING POLICIES

Helpful Hints for a Happy Stay.
Open May 1st through October 15th

1. EVERYONE MUST STOP AT THE OFFICE TO REGISTER BEFORE ENTERING THE PARK.
Registered guests or their vistiors will be issued a pass for their vehicle. 2. Check-in 1 p.m.

3. Check-out 12 noon.
When checking out, please leave your site as clean as you found it when you arrived. The DUMPSTER is located near the garage at the entrance to the park.
LATE CHECK OUT: You may stay until 4 p.m. for an additional fee as long as your site is available. Please check with office. After 4 p.m. you will be charged the nightly fee.

4. QUIET HOURS:
Sunday-Thursday 10pm to 8am
Friday-Saturday 11pm to 8am.
QUIET HOURS WILL BE ENFORCED! All visitors must leave the park by quiet hours.

5. Office and Store Hours
8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (7 days a week)
Laundry Room open 24 hours.
If you have an emergency or need immediate assistance at any time, ring the doorbell. Someone will come and help you.

6. The SPEED LIMIT in the park is 5 MPH !!!
Please watch for childeren at play, they may not be watching for you.

7. ALL PETS must be on a leash and never left unattended.
Please clean up after them. Pets must be inside at night. Please do not tie pets to trees.

8. SITE USE:
The site fee is for 2 adults and 2 children OR 4 adults. Extra people will be charged a per day fee. Children under 2 are free. Per the state of Michigan, there is a maximum of 8 people per site. One RV or tent per site. A second tent may be used on the same site if it is for use by the renting familys minor children. Please do not dump grey or black water on the ground. Per the state of Michigan, there is a maximum of 8 people on a site.

9. VEHICLES:
1 RV and 2 cars allowed on each site. We ask that any other cars or trailers be parked in the parking areas provided. ATVs are not allowed to be ridden in the park. They may be ridden in and out of the park only, to and from the trails. Golf carts may be used in the park by handicapped or disabled people only. Please contact the office for a Golf Cart pass/permit.

10. VEHICLE WASHING:
Washing of RVs, cars, or other vehicles is permitted with permission only and there will be a small fee to cover utility costs.

11. VISITORS:
Day use visitors are free. All visitors must exit the park by quiet hours. There is a fee for visitors to use the pool.

12. POOL USE:
The pool is free for use by registered campers. There is a fee per person for other visitors to use the pool. Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children 12 and under need to be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. There is to be no glass, no alcohol, no smoking and no pets in the pool area. Children who are not toilet trained need to wear swimmies in the pool (NO DIAPERS). Pool Hours: 10 a.m. Dusk. Opens Memorial Day weekend til just after Labor Day. Pool will be closed during inclement weather.

RESTROOMS: No washing of dishes or clothing in restrooms. Restrooms will be closed for cleaning from 11a.m. 1p.m. daily.

13. LAUNDRY:
Located in the back of the building near the pool. Book exchange, bulletin board, computer area for Wi-Fi and modem, information books, dining guide, games and magazines located here.

14. INTERNET:
Modem and Wi-Fi Accessible in laundry room.

15. PHONE:
Located in laundry room and available local, toll free, or calling card use. Please limit the length of your calls.

16. SMOKING:
No smoking in any of the buildings or the pool area. Please do not throw butts on the ground.

17. CAMPFIRES:
The campfire pits are for burning FIREWOOD ONLY! There is firewood for sale at the office and we will deliver it to your site. Burning is to be done in the firepits only. Please do not leave your campfire unattended. Please let us know if your fire ring is filled with ashes and we will clean it out for you. Please make sure your fire is out prior to your departure.

18. GARBAGE:
Please use the dumpster for all trash and garbage. It is located near the garage. Please dont burn garbage.

19. TREES AND VEGETATION:
Cutting, trimming, or damaging any standing timber or vegetation is prohibited. There will be a $100.00 fine for this infraction. If a tree branch bothers you, contact a staff employee to deal with it.

20. FIREWORKS:
Absolutely no fireworks. This is a safety issue.

21. ALCOHOL:
Alcohol is permitted but drunkenness is not!! Anyone acting in a drunken or obnoxious manner will be asked to leave the park immediately. Anyone under the age of 21 caught consuming alcohol will be turned over to the local authorities.

22. REFUNDS:
No refunds for early departure. There will be no refunds for the discomforts of Mother Nature.

23. DEPOSITS:
Deposits are required for stays over a holiday or for monthly stays. Deposits will be refunded if cancellations are made 72 hours in advance of intended date of arrival, minus a small cancellation fee. See office or website for details. Refunds will be made with a company check.

24. HOLIDAYS:
Holidays and Holiday weekends require a 2 day minimum and a credit card to hold the reservation.

25. DEPARTURE:
When leaving our campground, please leave your site clean and make sure your campfire is out. Respect other peoples property, sites, campers, and vehicles. Do not cut through sites or remove any property including firewood from other sites. Do not drive through or park on neighboring sites.
